Description

Bank of America is seeking a skilled Feature Lead Technology with the Flutter skillset to join our Merchant Technology Payments team.

With Flutter development experience, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining mobile application for iOS and Android using Flutter and related technologies.

You will work collaboratively with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and implement high quality and scalable mobile applications that meet our business needs.

This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions.

Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices / quality comply with software development standards.

Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Required Qualifications :
• At least 2+ years of experience in Flutter development.
• Proficient in Dart and Flutter frameworks.
• Experience with iOS and Android development using Flutter.
• Strong understanding of OOPs, design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualification :
• Experience with Firebase, Google Cloud, or other backend services.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Point of Sale solutions, integration to payment gateways, and knowledge of POS protocols and hardware.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Flutter Driver and JUnit.
• Familiarity with PCI standards

Responsibilities :
• Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery

• Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
• Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
• Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog / requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
• Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
• Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
