Messaging Operations Position Overview Job Title: CTB AVP - SWIFT Messaging Operations Location: Jaipur Role Description Deutsche Bank is one of the biggest corresponding banks in the world. Therefore, the global SWIFT network has an essential importance for us to exchange transaction with our counterparts. The centralized SWIFT infrastructure in DB is therefore the backbone for these critical bank processes. The department Messaging Operations is responsible for this infrastructure and builds the link between Ops, IT and business, which are using this infrastructure. The members of the department are responsible for the smooth processing of the SWIFT and Fax systems and take care of occurring issues. In addition, the team plays an active part within the change process and is key decision maker for all system related changes. Coordination of all SWIFT messaging projects including ISO2024 from a GMO standpoint and track progress and provide bi-weekly status to relevant stakeholders. Incident and Crisis handling including coordination of activities during the incident in collaboration with IT and business teams and follow up for root cause analysis Close collaboration and interaction with application support teams, business, and other relevant stakeholders globally. Review of open incident/problem/defects together with IT and testing teams Change management activities of all GMO application (FMS FIN, MX, RMA, PMX, SAG, MPO) including analysis and review of release scope/CR/UAT test cases and decision making on go live of releases. Pre and post planning of all operational activities including release and business checkouts. Own and manage all platform configuration changes including SWIFT configuration changes, Delivery subset and other data like currencies, application service profiles. All admin activities related to BROWSE like user setup, password resets, certificate and RBAC creation and Fileact activities like DN configuration and customer onboarding Commitment to manage deadlines and work extended hours in a fast-paced work environment. Effectively manage risk and foster an environment where team is fully aware of Operational Risk management. Qualifications and Experience: Degree with Financial Services / Banking and overall, at least 10 years of experience in the industry. Key skills and competencies: Experience and/or academic degree in financial services industry with focus on SWIFT Messaging Knowledge of the ISO2024, payments and/or trade and/or securities and/or relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas in SWIFT Messaging Strong and effective communication and presentation skills in English Ability to understand complex systems, products and processes and interpret complex information Experience in working with international environment in a matrix organization and interacting with diverse stakeholders and the ability to build constructive partnerships (virtual and onsite team) Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines and should be capable of self-learning.
