About the Role
The Government Of South Australia seeks a skilled Clinical Nurse/Midwife to provide advanced, person-centred care across various health service settings. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of care, leading your team to provide exceptional patient outcomes, and supporting the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in day-to-day management duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver proficient, patient-focused nursing/midwifery care.
Support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in leadership and management activities.
Oversee care delivery within your team, ensuring compliance with standards and quality.
Assist with staffing, performance management, recruitment, and rostering responsibilities.
Mentor and guide student nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
Promote and implement practice changes to improve the quality of care.
