Millwright Mechanic
Are you a skilled Millwright looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your technical expertise can make a real impact? We’re looking for a Millwright Mechanic who’s hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to take charge of equipment performance and reliability on the production floor.
If you're passionate about solving problems, reducing downtime, and keeping operations running smoothly, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed
Troubleshoot equipment failures and ensure timely repairs to reduce production delays
Maintain accurate maintenance records including service logs and inventory
Work closely with production teams to support efficiency and safety standards
Follow all company policies including GMP, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Quality standards
Use fabrication and welding skills for repair and maintenance work
Participate in ongoing improvement projects and contribute to operational reliability
Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What You Bring to the Role:
Certified Millwright with a valid license
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (food industry is a plus)
Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Comfortable working in a high-heat, fast-paced production environment
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Great communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
Experience using maintenance documentation tools and systems
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and tasks
