Are you a passionate and experienced Montessori Directress dedicated to fostering a child-centered learning environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic educator to join our team and guide young learners using the Montessori Philosophy.

About the Role:

As a Montessori Directress, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that follows Montessori principles while meeting Ontario’s licensing regulations (CCEYA). You will guide children through their early developmental years, fostering independence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement Montessori curriculum based on children's individual learning needs.
Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized Montessori classroom.
Observe, assess, and document children's progress using Montessori materials.
Foster independence and respect within the classroom community.
Maintain compliance with Ontario’s Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers through meetings and progress reports.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and enriching learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:

✅ Montessori Diploma from a MACTE-accredited or AMI-recognized training program.
✅ Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) (preferred for licensed childcare settings).
✅ Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Montessori classroom.
✅ Strong understanding of CCEYA regulations and Ontario’s Early Learning Framework.
✅ Excellent classroom management and child observation skills.
✅ First Aid & CPR (Level C) Certification.
✅ Vulnerable Sector Check (required).
