Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
• Hands On experience on SQL Backups and DB refresh.
• Experience in SQL Patching.
• Experience in understanding and analysing failure reasons on SQL Agent Jobs.
• Worked on routine maintenance such as patching, timely application upgrades, and renewal of SSL certificates.
• Experience on new database creation.
• Monitoring & resolution of Database performance issues.
• Adding, deleting & amending database objects.
• User access provisioning to databases.
• Experience in code deployments & migrations.
• Good understanding of deployment from Dev/SIT/UAT/PROD.
• Exposure to Incident, Problem Management and on call support.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 & 2026.
• Experience with SQL Server AG.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience with working on Azure environment (IaaS,PaaS).

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of SQL Server and strong in Azure (Iaas,PaaS)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Fixing Issues with respect to SQL Server.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in SSIS and SSRS.
• Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision.
• Passion to understand, learn, and dissect new technologies quickly on your own.
• Extensive experience working on multiple projects at a time in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Pluses: Certification on DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
