Brief Profile of the Candidate:

- Collaborate in the discovery and development of enduring revenue solutions for municipal corporations from current and potential new sources.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess the viability of issuing municipal bonds for urban local bodies (ULBs).
Conduct comprehensive reviews of legal and policy documents to accurately identify revenue streams assigned to local authorities.
Analyze ULBs' financial operations, including budgeting, spending patterns, and sources of revenue.
Investigate existing revenue generation and collection mechanisms in ULBs and formulate strategic plans to close gaps and boost revenue collection.
Requirements:

Minimum 6 years' experience in municipal finance.
Postgraduate degree in Public Policy, MBA, Economics, or certified CA.
Previous experience working with Urban Local Bodies, Department of Urban Local Bodies, or Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Experience in accounting and finance implementation within ULBs.
Motivated to make a meaningful contribution to the financial resilience of ULBs.
Eager to work on transformative projects that can fundamentally alter public financial management.
Open to travel across India.
