4myschools are looking for a Music Teacher to work at a school in Hertford, Hertfordshire to cover a maternity leave contract.
We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to cover a full-time maternity leave contract. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 music, preparing students for GCSEs, and potentially supporting extracurricular music activities. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring educator with a strong commitment to helping students develop their musical talents and confidence.
Key Responsibilities for a Music Teacher:
– Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
– Prepare students for GCSE Music assessments and examinations.
– Encourage student participation in extracurricular music activities, including concerts, performances, and clubs.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
– Experience teaching music at secondary level, including preparing students for GCSEs.
– Passionate about music education and dedicated to fostering student engagement.
– Strong communication and organizational skills.
