Justice System Transcription Opportunities

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the justice system? Do you have strong transcription skills and a passion for accuracy? We are seeking experienced transcriptionists to join our National Transcription Service team.

As a Court Reporter, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality transcripts to support the justice system. Your work will involve transcribing a wide range of cases, including Criminal, Family, Civil, Environment, Coronial, and Employment hearings.

Your Key Responsibilities

Transcribe court proceedings and other cases with accuracy and efficiency.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the country to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality transcripts.
Develop and maintain your skills in transcription software and technology.
Improve your Te Reo Maori skills to support our te reo transcription services.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in transcription, preferably in a law or government setting.
Accurate audio-typing skills with a minimum speed of 70 wpm.
Strong understanding of legal protocols and court procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
