Role Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Natural Areas Supervisor to join our team at Fraser Coast Regional Council. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver ecological restoration projects, with a focus on restoring and maintaining natural areas.
Main Tasks:
Supervising a team to achieve ecological restoration goals, including planting semi-mature trees and managing contractors
Coordinating resources and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines
Developing and implementing strategies to improve biodiversity and ecosystem health
The ideal candidate will have experience in ecological restoration and revegetation, as well as strong leadership and project management skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
