The Role:
This role ensures that employees and contractors have the necessary competencies to access, work around and operate our electricity network safely.
This role uses excellent communication and an inclusive, collaborative style to build relationships across the industry, seeking the best industry outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate internal and external requirements associated with Network Operations and Access Standards.
Determine training needs for Network staff and carry out assessments where required.
Provide broader support across the Operations team, including conducting investigations, and providing cross-functional support for fault and event management.
Evaluate and maintain up-to-date network access and operational standards for compliance.
Develop and deliver training programs for Northpower Network staff.
Audit and assess competency levels of employees and contractors.
Support incident investigations and event management.
Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
At least 10 years of experience in the Electricity Supply industry.
Strong knowledge of Transmission and Distribution systems.
Qualifications in assessment, training, and investigation (40+8, 11551, 11552, ICAM).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
A safety-first mindset with a passion for quality assurance.
