The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Network Engineer who will work as part of a team to manage and maintain Network services across the ANZ group based in our Auckland office, with some travel throughout NZ to our various sites.

The Primary purpose of this role is to:

Support and maintain routing and switching network services (Cisco,HP) (SD WAN)
Support and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls (Palo Alto)
Support and maintain Cloud Networks (Megaport,AWS)
Key Deliverables:

Maintain technical documentation and diagrams
Provide Support for all network-related issues (Incidents/Service requests/Change
Provide expert advice at the Technical Design meetings and raise awareness of existing standards and current systems.
Deploy complex network solutions across IT/OT Infrastructure
Configuration of firewalls, routing & switching to maximise network efficiency and security
Support the development of the technology strategy and framework that's in line with the long-term GF goals.
Contribute to the definition and validation of architecture principles and standards about Application and Infrastructure architecture standards.
What you will bring:

Proven experience in network Infrastructure roles
A CCNA Certification highly desirable
Strong network troubleshooting skills and understanding of complex traffic flow
Experience managing WAN / LAN
Experience with SDWAN solutions like VMWare Velocloud
Experience managing Firewalls (ASA/Palo Alto)
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
