The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Field Network Technician to join our close-knit team. This role goes beyond a standard +-5 job; it's ideal for someone passionate about technology with the flexibility and drive to handle high-pressure situations, learn quickly, and work autonomously with great attention to detail.
You will be involved in delivering cutting-edge temporary internet solutions for high-profile events and businesses. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior technicians, delivering reliable service and outstanding customer support in dynamic environments. Flexibility, passion, and a can-do attitude are a must.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, installation, and breakdown of telecommunications networks, including temporary internet and WiFI installations.
Conduct site surveys, troubleshoot issues on-site, and ensure seamless service delivery under the guidance of senior technicians.
Manage and maintain technical equipment and inventory.
Write or update technical SOP documentation.
Engage with clients, ensuring their technical needs are met and exceeded, often under tight deadlines.
Proactively learn new technologies and processes through independent research to enhance service offerings.
Requirements:
Incredible attention to detail is a must.
Experience ideally either as a network field technician, AV engineer, or other relevant technical role.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in dynamic, high-stress environments.
A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies independently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Must live less than an hour’s commute from London Bridge, London.
