What You’ll Be Doing
The Networks Solutions Architect is central in facilitating the bridge between technical and business departments. Responsible for creating and managing the enterprise and digital architecture strategy for the client, the role focuses on ensuring the alignment of IT strategy with business goals.
This individual will work closely with sales, engineering, technical support, and customer service departments, providing technology strategy and governance focusing on networking and Telco consultancy, presales services, and ensuring all architectural solutions are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Engages with stakeholders to design and implement business and IT strategies, ensuring they adhere to complex enterprise solutions with a focus on Network Solutions.
Evaluates and present information that will facilitate effective, informed and timely decision making.
Works closely with sales teams to incorporate technology components into a broader customer ecosystem.
Has a customer-first mindset and is a trusted advisor to clients, recommending solutions that fulfil business needs whilst being fiscally sound.
Can adopt a holistic view of the client's strategy, processes, and information technology assets, ensuring alignment.
Coordinates closely with the engineering and customer service departments to ensure scalable, sustainable solutions meet best practice criteria.
Participates in presales activities, championing the company’s technical capabilities and solutions.
Ensures projects remain aligned with the customer architecture roadmap and standards.
Leads customer-facing technical presentations and solution demonstrations tailored to the client’s needs and specifications.
Evaluate technical requirements of new sales opportunities and provide product recommendations.
Draft compelling technical responses for proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and solution summaries to demonstrate the company’s capabilities.
Engages with product development teams to adapt current solutions based on market trends and customer feedback.
What will make you successful in this role?
5+ years of practical work experience in a WAN multi-topology network environment with SI/IT hands-on experience.
Technical-centric Industry Certifications
5+ years of practical work experience in a Cloud environment with hands-on experience
5+ years of Infrastructure architecture and design.
Extensive experience with the following vendors and technologies:
Fortinet Networks.
SDWan Technologies
Veeam Backup.
Public Cloud (Azure, AWS).
VMware Private Cloud.
Access4 Voice Solutions.
Proficient in Telco and Networks consultancy with hands-on experience
Experience in WAN / LAN consulting
Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or equivalent.
Has a lifelong learning mindset and continuously researches the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices to stay updated.
