Job Overview:
We are a content creation company specializing in the UK and Chinese markets, offering high-quality content and product recommendations through multi-media platforms such as WeChat articles, videos, and live streams. We are currently looking for a professional in New Media Business Advertising and Event Planning to drive business growth, increase brand visibility, and design innovative online and offline events. Based on performance, the company will offer UK Skilled worker visa sponsorship.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Engage with brands and advertisers to negotiate and secure business partnerships, ensuring smooth execution of projects;
• Oversee and enhance the business operations of new media platforms (e.g., WeChat Official Accounts, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, WeChat Channels, TikTok), focusing on growing the audience and improving engagement;
• Develop and implement online and offline marketing events, including live-stream shopping and social media promotional campaigns;
• Collaborate closely with the content team to coordinate the creation of promotional material, ensuring alignment with audience interests and preferences;
• Analyze platform metrics to develop optimization strategies and boost the effectiveness and ROI of advertising efforts;
• Stay updated on market trends and offer fresh ideas for marketing initiatives and event planning.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a preference for candidates who majored in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Chinese, or related fields;
• Passion for media and market operations, with basic knowledge of the UK market, consumer psychology, and awareness of key current events in the UK;
• Experience in new media operations or business development, with an understanding of how media platforms operate in both China and the UK;
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, able to independently manage the full cycle of business collaborations;
• Expertise in managing social media platforms like Douyin, Xiaohongshu, WeChat Channels, and TikTok, with a clear understanding of their operational mechanics;
• Prior experience in planning online events, promoting brands, or live-stream shopping is highly desirable;
• Strong analytical skills, capable of deriving insights from platform data and proposing actionable improvements;
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent execution abilities;
• Bilingual in Chinese and English, with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate cross-cultural environments;
• Possession of a valid UK visa for a minimum of six months.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
