- 6+ months (contract to hire).

Job Requirements :

- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field plus 6+ years' work experience or MS with 4-6 years of relevant experience.

- Experience developing Android applications & commercial software with Java and Kotlin.

- Experience with Android Studio, GIT, Jira, profilers, Gradle and debuggers.

- Experience integrating with web services & using HTTP, TCP/IP, and databases.

- Experience with Unit-testing.

- Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms.

- Code samples from private GitHub repos, side projects, and open-source project contributions is a plus.

Required Skills and Experience :

- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field plus 6+ years' work experience or MS with 4-6 years of relevant experience.

- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.

- In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK and Android Studio.

- Experience with Android Jetpack components (e.g., WorkManager, Navigation, Room).

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.

- Understanding of UI/UX design principles.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Android Architecture Components.

- Knowledge of modern Android development practices (e.g., MVVM, MVI).

- Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit and Espresso.

- Contributions to open-source Android projects.
