Role Description
DB Centre is looking to hire a qualified professional with business/academic backgrounds and good credit risk management capabilities to join the Global Natural Resource Finance (NRF) Deal Management within Trade Structured Finance organization in Corporate Banking.
Natural Resource Finance (NRF) is a product area within Trade Finance and Lending, and is a leading arranger of structured bilateral or syndicated facilities including project finance for producers, processors, and traders in the natural resource industry globally. NRF has teams in Amsterdam, London, Mumbai, Singapore, and Sydney.
The majority of NRF transactions are syndicated project finance and commodity finance solutions such as Borrowing Base Facilities (BBF), Reserve Based Lending (RBL), Pre-Export Finance (PXF) or Pre-Payment Finance (PPF).
A highly qualified Deal Management team is required to manage and monitor the contractual, financial and non financial risks of transactions, securities and collateral, on a single name and portfolio basis.
The management and monitoring role spans over the lifetime of the with focus on the project finance portfolio, and requires the dedication to work as one team for NRF globally. It offers a high quality support level to all front office activities in the NRF business globally.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Ensure proper covenant monitoring & monitor portfolio performance, simultaneously flag financial and non-financial risk pro-actively to stakeholders.
• Support NRF to achieve accurate RWA consumption by accurately booking the De-risking instruments while maintaining good cross team co-operation and further roll out Collateral Liquidation Valuation procedure.
• Ensure effective non-financial risk management & controls as the team will be responsible for Portfolio Monitoring by following a Risk Based approach and involved in various functions from Pre Sales to Maturity.
• Review of waivers and amendments especially for project finance transactions, facility extensions, increase, accession agreements, pledge agreements, client's prepayment notices, release documentation and security release requests relating to flow & syndicated deals.
Technical Skills
Your skills and experience
• Good Knowledge Credit Risk Assessment
• Credit Risk Background
• Knowing Trade Finance, and Commodity Markets is a plus.
• Financial Analytical skills; proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint, VBA is a plus
• Understand commercial dynamics & governance, review of legal documentation will be an added advantage
