An exciting opportunity has arisen within ward 7 Queen Margaret Hospital for an individual to join our skilled and dedicated nursing team. These posts are within a 20 bedded ward dedicated to stroke rehabilitation.

As a member of our team you will have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and take direction to deliver high quality person centred care. You must also have the ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.

Experience working within healthcare environment is desirable but not essential for this post as mandatory and stroke training will be provided for the successful candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop their knowledge and skills within the field of stroke rehabilitation.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. Your offer/contract of employment will therefore reflect the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
