This position may be required to work nights, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays
Why does the job exist?
The purpose of this position is to provide direct personal care and related support to patients within an Acute Care Facility in the Obstetric Department while maintaining quality care services. This position ensures adherence to Miner's Colfax Medical Center policies and procedures.
How does it get done?
The incumbent will provide personal care and related support to patients within an Acute Care Facility in the Obstetrics Department.

Minimum Qualification
Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico, or eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements, or eligibility for a temporary license issued for employment at a specific institution in New Mexico and two (2) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification.
Employment Requirements
Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico OR eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements OR Eligibility for a temporary license issued for employment at a specific institution in New Mexico OR a Graduate Nurse with a permit to practice. Must successfully pass a background check.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a hospital setting and may be bending and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
