Position: Summer Learning Program Consultant - Long-Term Occasional
Location: St. Patrick, Rockland; St. Peter, Cornwall; St. Francis de Sales, Smiths Falls; John Bosco, Brockville
FTE: 1.00 (+:00 am-3:00 pm – includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Effective: July 2, 2025 - July 18, 2025
Salary: Continuing Education Rate ($47.70/hour)
Summary
The successful candidate will offer support to Summer Learning Teachers and Educational Assistants and families. The consultant will need to have their own device and strong daily internet access.
Expertise
Experience in a consulting role and with the Ontario Catholic Curriculum with particular emphasis in the area of literacy and numeracy.
Qualifications
Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate;
Special Education Specialist;
Religious Education Part 1 would be considered an asset;
Current knowledge of the Expert Panel Reports and Ministry Guides to Effective Literacy and Numeracy Instruction;
Knowledge and use of Microsoft applications and LMS MS Teams;
Knowledge of instructional assessment, evaluation and reporting practices in alignment with the Institute for Catholic Education and the Ontario Ministry of Education;
Demonstrated experience and skills in the areas of elementary education.
