Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team.
As our Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our company, playing a vital role in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. In addition to managing the front desk, you will assist with general office duties, data entry, and support our safety initiatives.
• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and other communications.
• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain and organize office supplies, files, and records.
• Assist with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars.
• Support safety-related tasks, such as maintaining safety logs, distributing PPE, and assisting with safety training sessions.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration or safety are a plus.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
