We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Math Tutors to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for university students majoring in Math, Engineering, Physics, Education, or related fields to gain valuable teaching experience, reinforce their own knowledge, and make a real difference in students' lives. You will work directly with students, either one-on-one or in small groups, to provide tailored instruction and academic support.
Responsibilities
Provide engaging and effective tutoring sessions in math subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Calculus, including test prep (SAT/ACT Math).
Assess individual student needs and learning styles to develop customized lesson plans.
Explain complex mathematical concepts in clear, relatable, and creative ways.
Utilize our learning materials and online platforms to facilitate sessions (training provided).
Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and, as appropriate, to parents/guardians.
Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a university degree program, preferably in Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, Education, or a related field (upper-year students preferred).
Strong academic record with mastery of high school and early university-level mathematics.
Previous tutoring, teaching, mentorship, or customer service experience is a significant asset.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of various ages and backgrounds.
Patient, enthusiastic, reliable, and professionally responsible.

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
