About the Role
Are you passionate about teaching and comfortable in front of the camera? We’re looking for an energetic and
creative online teacher and livestream host to deliver engaging lessons and live educational content to our
online community. This hybrid role combines interactive teaching with live streaming, making it ideal for
someone who thrives in digital environments and enjoys engaging audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Online Teaching
• Deliver interactive, curriculum-based virtual lessons to children, teens, or adult learners.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive virtual classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and support learner development.
• Occasionally cover classes as needed.
2. Live Streaming & Content Engagement
• Host live educational sessions, Q&As, workshops, and themed events on local platforms.
• Create short-form content and behind-the-scenes videos to enhance learner engagement.
• Build and interact with a loyal online community of learners and followers.
• Represent the Houhai English brand with enthusiasm and authenticity.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams on creative concepts and campaigns.
Specific qualifications required for this role:
• Teaching Credential/License
• TESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours
• TESL/TEFL Certificate
• TESL/TEFL Diploma Level
Additional requirements for this role:
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, or other recognized teaching certification.
• Teaching, tutoring, or training experience (online teaching experience preferred).
• Confident and charismatic on camera with a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with live-streaming tools or platforms is a plus.
• Creative, adaptable, and passionate about delivering educational entertainment.
