Operation Executive

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transport Executive to join our team. The Transport Executive will
play a crucial role in managing transportation operations efficiently and ensuring that consignments are transported
safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires exceptional organizational and analytical skills, as well as the
ability to communicate effectively with clients and transport providers.

Responsibilities:
1. Handling Incoming Transport Enquiries:
Respond promptly to incoming transport enquiries from clients and partners.
Gather all necessary information to initiate the transportation process.
2. Analyzing and Studying Enquiries:
Thoroughly analyze and study incoming enquiries to determine the appropriate vehicle selection based on
consignment dimensions and weight.
3. Transport Route Planning and Analysis:
Plan and analyze transport routes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and restrictions.
4. Finding Transport Vehicles and Freight Decision:
Source and evaluate transport providers to secure the best possible freight rates.
Compare multiple quotes to make informed decisions regarding freight and transportation options.
5. Client Communication:
Maintain effective communication with clients to provide them with accurate quotes and information.
Forward quotes and transportation details to clients for their approval.
6. Confirming and Placing Vehicle Orders:
Coordinate with transport providers to confirm bookings and place vehicle orders as required.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
7. Loading, Tracking, and Unloading:
Monitor the loading of consignments onto transport vehicles.
Track the transportation progress and provide updates to clients as needed.
Oversee the unloading process at the destination.
8. Billing, GST, and PoD Collection:
Generate accurate invoices for transportation services rendered to clients.
Ensure that GST (Goods and Services Tax) calculations and compliance are accurately applied to invoices.
Collect proof of delivery documents (PoDs) and reconcile them with invoices to verify the completion of
services.
Address any billing discrepancies and work closely with the finance department to resolve issues promptly.
Maintain comprehensive records of billing and GST transactions for reporting and auditing purposes.
