AM Operations Supervisor – Melbourne Airport, VIC
Full-Time | Lead Morning Operations with a Safety-First Mindset
Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for logistics and a strong commitment to safety, people, and performance? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic AM Operations Supervisor to join our Melbourne Airport team!
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for overseeing morning operations, driving performance, and creating a high-performing, safety-focused team culture.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and supervise the morning shift team, driving high performance and engagement
Coordinate daily workflows, labor, and equipment to ensure KPIs and customer expectations (DIFOT) are met
Champion health and safety across your area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements
Actively participate in site leadership, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
First point of contact for staff coaching, support, and performance management
Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver operational outcomes and exceptional customer service
What We’re Looking For:
Frontline leadership experience in transport or logistics
Strong understanding of operational KPIs, compliance, and HSE frameworks
Effective decision-maker with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
Excellent communicator and motivator, capable of building rapport with staff and stakeholders
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel reporting
Qualifications in Logistics or similar discipline (preferred)
Valid driver’s license (essential)
RACA 1 & 2, Dangerous Goods Acceptance by Air, Airside Awareness Training
