Operations Manager

&C Association Operations Manager.

The Kuluin State School P&C are seeking a part time operations manager to join their team for 15 hours per week. We are looking for a friendly, proactive, and forward-thinking individual to join the existing multi-faceted team to help with the daily ongoing needs of the P&C.

About you:

· Friendly, approachable, and self-motivated to work in an autonomous space.

· Demonstrated experience in day-to-day business operations.

· Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and multitask.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Understanding of the importance of the regulations the P&C operate under and the compliance requirements associated.

· The ability to work within a wider team.

· Have a Blue Card or be eligible to apply for one.

About the role; key duties are to include but not limited to:

· Promoting the P&C activities through school correspondence and social media

· Maintaining records required by the P&C including compliance, bookkeeping, invoicing and payments, budgets, reports.

· Ongoing bookkeeping and account reconciliation

· Work with the existing independently run P&C businesses at the school.

· Assist in the sourcing and implementation of fundraising options for the school community.

· Sourcing and submission of grants to assist in fundraising for the benefit of the wider school community.

· Work along side the school staff and administration and maintain a positive work environment.

· Provide additional support to the P&C as needed.

· Liaise with the current P&C executive regularly.

The additional qualities will be looked on favourably:

· Experience with Xero

· Previous experience with a similar role
