Active Adventures, winners of the Supreme Award and the Excellence in People and Capability Award at the Queenstown Business Awards, is seeking a dedicated and motivated leader for our Christchurch Operations Base.
Your Purpose:
Along with your Christchurch-based operations team, you’ll be responsible for successfully running all our New Zealand trips operating under our three global brands (Active Adventures, Austin Adventures, and Discovery Bicycle Tours). Your ultimate goal is super happy, safe guests who love their New Zealand experience, want to travel with us again and again, and recommend us to their friends and family.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Nationwide operations and guide team management
Overseeing the vehicle fleet and all trip logistics
Safety and emergency management
Enhancing the on-trip guest experience
Your Skills:
Exceptional, proven operations and organisational ability, ideally within tourism or similar industries
Proven ability to successfully lead and inspire a team
Customer focused - always considering the guest experience
Proven ability to successfully manage safety and mitigate risk
