Job description
Alpine F1 Team have an excellent opportunity to join our Business Transformation team based at our Enstone factory. We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual to contribute to our relentless pursuit of performance.
The Role
The focus of the role is on evaluating, designing, developing and supporting software solutions for Alpine F1 Business Systems that will drive the Team to achieve our ultimate goal; to win the Formula 1 World Championship. The scope covers mainly the Enterprise Resource Planning Microsoft D365. To succeed, you must understand how your role as a provider of technical solutions is supporting the Company’s business model, objectives and internal customers.
You will be heavily involved in the development of customisations to Microsoft Dynamics D365 FSCM, writing code and performing unit testing, and creating detailed supporting code documentation. You’ll need to be able to test code for validity, accuracy and conformance to development specifications. Collaborating with people around the Team to identify and execute solutions meeting business requirements will be critical.
Additional accountabilities are:
• Developing custom reports as required
• Identifying and debugging application issues
• Providing out of hours support where necessary
The Person
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, analytical, committed to deadlines and willing to work in a fast-paced environment alone and as part of a team. You will need to be able to communicate ideas in both technical and user friendly language, with keen attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
An excellent understanding of the organisation’s goals will be necessary.
The technical capabilities we need are:
• Development experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management and/or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
• Knowledge of X++ and related technologies (e.g. COM, XML, Data Entities, Web Services, ODATA)
• Experience in developments and deployments through Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps to Microsoft LCS
• SQL/TSQL, SQL Analysis Services experience and SQL Reporting Services experience
• Exposure to the latest MS technologies (e.g. PowerPlatform).
