Job Title : Operator - Warehouse

General Summary : Activities that ensure the correct receipt of goods from external and internal suppliers supporting manufacturing process to complete costumer’s orders more efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Physical Inspection of the shipment received from External and internal suppliers for condition of the goods and accuracy of the count.
• Has to ensure physical identification of the received goods pallet wise by pasting GRN on each and every pallet, report any discrepancy to the immediate supervisor.
• Operate material handling equipments. Keep your wok area and equipments in a clean, secure and professional way. Follow all safety rules, and use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) in the areas that is needed.
• Scanning of Finished Goods while picking and issuing goods to shipping department ensuring accuracy in counts.
• Assist Material Coordinator / team leader in their prime role of inventory count, segregation and storage of material as per laid down procedures
• Proper segregation of documents, handing over necessary documents to Excise and filing the documents to ensure easy traceability of documents and timely payment to supplier and availing excise credit on time.

Qualifications : Minimum HSSC (12th Std) or ITI

Work Experience : 2-3 years of warehouse or industrial materials handling experience.

Skills
• Must be able to use computer terminal to enter and retrieve data.
• Must be familiar with material and inventory ordering and distribution processes.
• Must be able to read and apply chemical handling instructions and regulations, and must be familiar with storage and disposal of chemicals.
