Job Title: Oracle DBA
Experience Required: 3–4 Years
Location: Kolkata (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in Oracle 12c/1+c and Oracle GoldenGate. This is a hybrid role based in Kolkata, suitable for professionals with 3-4 years of relevant DBA experience looking to grow in a challenging enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day Oracle database administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
Monitor and tune database performance; troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
Manage users, roles, privileges, and security settings.
Handle backup & recovery operations using RMAN.
Support data replication and synchronization using Oracle GoldenGate.
Perform health checks, and manage database growth and capacity planning.
Collaborate with developers and support teams for optimal database performance.
Maintain documentation for all DBA activities and environments.
Required Skills:

3-4 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate (Classic or Microservices preferred).
Proficient in Oracle 12c / 1+c environments.
Understanding of RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM is a plus.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments for database operations.
Basic shell scripting knowledge is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:

Oracle certification (OCA/OCP)
Exposure to cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, or Azure
Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation frameworks for database deployment
