Oracle DBA

YOU Broadband is looking for experienced and professional Oracle DBA who is ready to work to administer large, production DB environment and troubleshoot and provide system level solutions. This includes Oracle databases for production, testing, and staging environments.Have good understanding of Oracle database and its architecture.Ensure DB availability.Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls including compliance related reporting and controls.Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB.Ensures that best practices are followed in all areas including RMAN backup/restore, EXPDP/IMPDP, tablespace management, Data GuardDeriving RCA for the problem tickets and providing technical recommendation.Have sound communication skills with management, development, teams, vendors, systems administrators and other related service providers.Required Skills :L1 and L2 Hands on experience in Oracle 10g, 12c .Knowledge of Oracle Architecture and day to day monitoring.User Administration, DB files administration.A good knowledge of the operating system(s) Linux is preferable.Understanding of the Oracle administration, performance tuning, SLA and availability.Experience in maintaining production environment, database patching , installation and up gradation.Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy and integrity. Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues.Experience with RMAN, Data Guard, ASH/AWR analysis,Table Partitioning.Command over SQL and PL/SQL.Desirable Skills (Non Mandatory) :Knowledge of automation using shell scripts.Knowledge in other RDBMS like MySQL, SQL server etc
