The Role
Reporting into the Head of Culture and Capability, this role is an opportunity to challenge the status quo and drive transformational change. In the role you’ll lead a small team responsible for delivering critical programs to strengthen culture, foster employee engagement, enhance leadership capability, and optimise performance across TasWater.
The leadership of this new function will include:
Program of work: Utilise data-driven insights to contribute to the development of a program, aligned to the TasWater Strategy.
Initiative design: Lead the effective development, execution, evaluation and continuous improvement of culture, leadership and performance initiatives.
Leadership development: Develop an organisation-wide leadership capability framework and supporting development plan that promotes leadership excellence.
Talent and succession: Develop and oversee programs to prepare high-potential employees for future leadership roles, ensuring a pipeline of capable leaders.
Coaching and advice: Support leaders with expert coaching and advice on a variety of people related topics.
People Leadership: Lead in alignment with TasWater’s Strategy, Vision, Values, and Behaviours.
What we're looking for
We're seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record in driving performance and enhancing workplace culture. This leader will have the agility to lead and deliver fit for purpose initiatives and provide expert advice.
To be successful we’re looking for the following experience:
Leadership experience: Proven leadership inspiring and motivating teams to achieve desired outcomes within large, regulated organisations.
Senior-Level OD Experience: Proven expertise in designing and implementing organisational development strategies and initiatives.
Leadership Development Knowledge: Applied knowledge of contemporary leadership development principles and practices, including the development of leadership capability frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

The Details
This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $1+0,000 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
