Job description
HCA Band 3 for Out Patients in Shaftesbury and Sherborne Community Hospitals (based at Westminster Memorial Hospital in Shaftesbury). Part Time, 15hrs a week.
Supporting varied Out Patients clinics at both sites.
To work in Out Patients across two Community Hospitals for Dorset Healthcare, joining the team at Yeatman hospital in Sherborne for support and guidance.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
To support Clinicians in the running of efficient and effective Out Patients clinics at both Shaftesbury and Sherborne Community Hospitals. Close patient contact for taking observations and carrying out routine tasks.
Attending Mandatory training sessions, staff meetings and keeping up to date with Trust Policies and procedures.
Preparing clinic notes and list prep and the facilitating of clinics for different specialities. Undertaking self led tasks at the discretion of the Out Patients sister/Trained clinical staff.
