The McMurdo Station in Antarctica is seeking a skilled Overhead Door Technician to join their maintenance team.
About the Role:
This unique opportunity involves working with spring-loaded overhead doors in one of the most remote and challenging environments on Earth.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on spring-loaded overhead doors and related systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve door-related issues promptly and effectively.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with other team members to support overall station operations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Relevant experience in door maintenance and repair.
Ability to pass medical, dental, and background checks.
Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
