We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Baking Assistant to join our team and support the production of our innovative desserts.
Overview
The Packing & Operations Coordinator is responsible for making sure every customer order is packed correctly, shipped out on time, and fully logged for traceability. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, cares about quality, and is organized with record-keeping. You’ll be working on the production floor, packing products, preparing shipments, and maintaining clear records to meet our food safety standards.
Packing & Labeling:
Pick and pack daily customer orders accurately, ensuring correct quantities, labelling, and packaging.
Prepare boxes for shipment, apply shipping labels, and coordinate pickups with delivery drivers when required
Keep detailed records of each order packed and shipped, including product batches, dates, and quantities for full traceability.
Maintain clean and organized packing and storage areas.
Monitor packing supplies (boxes, labels, tape, etc.) and alert the team when restocking is needed.
Work closely with the production team to get fresh product ready for orders.
Check final products for quality and packaging integrity before shipping.
Support basic inventory counts if needed.
Follow all food safety and workplace safety guidelines.
Bring any errors, shortages, or issues to the attention of the manager immediately.
Cleaning & Sanitization:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen tools, trays, and equipment as needed
Keep packing material, labels and other stationary neatly organized
Sweep, mop, and disinfect work areas following food safety standards.
General Support:
Assist with inventory organization and restocking supplies.
Work efficiently to support the team in daily operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in packing, fulfillment, or shipping is an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing things right the first time.
Good organizational skills to keep clear and accurate records.
Basic comfort using checklists, logs, or simple digital tracking tools.
Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and move boxes as part of daily tasks.
Dependable, punctual, and works well independently.
Positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
