Responsibilities

Mix paint to proper balance and pre-determined color; paint surfaces with the proper tools according to instructions and ensure finish matches the correct color and texture
Determine if protective finishes (lacquer, varnish, polyurethane, etc.) are required and apply when necessary
Ensure that all areas not being textured, painted, and stained are completely covered with drop cloths/plastic
Complete all paint tasks within the timeframes given and with heavy attention to detail
Keep informed and updated on current painting methods and techniques
Ensure the resort Paint Shop is adequately stocked with the proper colors of paint and all necessary supplies at all times

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a Paint Tech/Painter!

The professional Paint Tech/Painter is a deadline-driven role responsible for painting, plastering and wallpapering guest rooms and public areas to ensure a beautiful, well-maintained hotel environment. Come help us "paint" a perfect picture at Florida’s newest resort!

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.

Job Duties
• Perform routine to complex paint maintenance and touch-up work on painted surfaces throughout the Resort

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates.
