Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting projects, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our standards of excellence. Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage time effectively are essential for success in this role.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Operate rigs and other equipment safely to reach high areas or difficult spots.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on site to ensure project completion.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
Excellent time management abilities to meet project deadlines efficiently.
Experience in commercial and residential painting projects is preferred.
Skilled in using hand tools and painting equipment effectively.
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients regarding project details.
Knowledge of caulking techniques for proper sealing of surfaces.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$28.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

Residential painting: 5 years (required)
