Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter or Subcontractors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial painting, possess excellent time management skills, and be proficient with various power and hand tools. Must have your own transportation to the job site.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, scraping, and applying primer
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Follow schematics to determine the layout and requirements for each project
- Perform touch-ups or repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficiency in painting techniques
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Experience with power tools such as paint sprayers and sanders
- Advantageous carpentry skills, mudding, or drywall to repair surfaces before painting
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients
- Familiarity with hand tools for detailed work
- Ability to work on residential and commercial painting projects from start to finish
