Painter|Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, as well as a strong understanding of various construction and maintenance tasks. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.

Duties
• Perform residential and commercial painting tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Utilize airless paint spraying techniques for efficient application.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Assist with masonry work when required, including building and repairing structures.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on various projects.
• Apply knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate paint colors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.

Experience
• Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is preferred.
• Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus.
• Skills in caulking, maintenance person tasks, and basic carpentry are advantageous.
• Ability to read and understand schematics related to painting projects.
• Knowledge of color theory is beneficial for assisting clients in their choices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Any new employee gets started out at $16/hr and we look at your skills and put you in one of our 6 levels that maxes out at $25/ hr.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
