About the role
Nova Smash Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Panel Beater to join our team in East Perth, WA. This is a full-time position responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies and panels to manufacturer and industry standards. You will play an important role in ensuring safe, high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect vehicles to identify damage and determine repair methods and materials required
Remove, repair and replace damaged panels, body parts, and structural components
Realign chassis and frames, and fit new or repaired parts
Repair dents, scratches, and other surface damage using appropriate tools and equipment
Fill depressions, sand, grind and smooth surfaces in preparation for refinishing
Weld, rivet, and bolt replacement parts into place
Work collaboratively with spray painters and other technicians to complete repair jobs
Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
Maintain workshop tools, equipment and a clean working environment
Skills & Experience
Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified Panel Beater in an automotive workshop
Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, welding, and metalworking
High attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
Ability to interpret technical drawings and repair specifications
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
Good communication skills and customer service focus
Current and valid driver’s licence
