Utilize internet file transfer, document security/encryption, and best practices in client data management
Interact with E-Discovery vendors, vendor management, and quality control
Draft correspondence, memoranda or pleadings
Perform investigative and background research, including witness location, and cases/legal authority gathering
Create and maintain databases of documents and information
Review and analyze documents, data, and depositions as required by team attorneys and/or clients
Assist at and in preparation for depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Coordinate preparation of motions and briefs including proofreading, cite-checking (if applicable), assembly of exhibits, filing and service
Assist at and with preparation for trial including gathering documents to be used as trial exhibits, preparation of witness binders, deposition designations, review and organization of materials for use by team attorneys, preparation of electronic presentations, and coordination with litigation support personnel
Organize work rooms
Liaise with internal firm departments and outside sources to gather information and data
Provide proactive management of larger cases, including coordination of support efforts and preparing for upcoming events
Additional administrative duties as assigned
Annual billable hours are 1600 (excluding overtime from calculations)

Carlton Fields is seeking a Paralegal for its Atlanta office.
