We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Legal Assistant or Paralegal (3 to 4 days per week). This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a legal setting or current law students who are looking to gain further practical, hands-on experience in various areas of law.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing assistance to the legal practitioners.
Drafting letters, memos and other correspondence on behalf of the legal practitioners.
Interacting with clients, including answering the telephone.
Preparing tea and coffee and other support tasks for clients and solicitors.
General conveyancing work (under the supervision of a legal practitioner).
General leasing work (under the supervision of a legal practitioner).
General estate planning work (under the supervision of a legal practitioner).
Occasionally assist delivering documents, posting letters and court filing.
Required Skills/Experience:

Law student and / or previous experience working in a law office.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn and gain experience in the legal industry.
Strong computer skills (quick typist and quick at using a computer).
Strong communication skills.
Casual position.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
