The business philosophy is to allow advisers to spend as much time in front of the client as possible, for the client engagement and marketing teams to ensure adviser diaries are filled with appointments, and for the paraplanning, lending and administration/implementation teams to provide support and remove as much of the paperwork from the advisers as possible. This model provides quality advice by ensuring people contribute to what they are best at.
The Paraplanning department is a centralised team producing 100+ complex advice documents per month. Responsible for the APL, the team plays a critical role in supporting the advice function in a fast-growing business with lots of opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the performance, training, and development of the paraplanning team
Managing the advice workflow ensures the timely production of accurate and compliant advice
Working with advisers to develop advice strategies and SOA’s
Ensuring effective product research, strategy development and technical support as the technical centre of excellence
Ensuring the business is at the forefront of compliant advice
Driving process development to ensure AFPG is at the forefront of advice
This is a senior role in the business and will be expected to contribute to the ongoing development of the business generally and positively contribute to the culture .
Role Goals:
Support Financial Advisers and Associate Advisers in providing exceptional client service
Work to develop efficient, cost effective and scalable processes
Ensure the business meets legislative obligations for client service
Comply with all Regulations and Policies
Work with other teams on cross function issues and projects
This is a high performance business and team, where you will manage and mentor a committed team of eight. It's a business that is succeeding because of the quality of their work and as such, this is a key role in their team, reporting directly into the COO.
