Key Responsibilities:
Driving & Cross-Border Transportation:
Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods across international borders.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance issues.
Maintain detailed logbooks and records, including mileage, fuel, and incident reports.
Communicate shipment status with internal teams and resolve issues promptly.
Report any violations, delays, or incidents to management and relevant authorities.
Warehouse Operations:
Safely lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs within the facility.
Receive and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders.
Accurately document and report any discrepancies or damages.
Pick, pack, and label outbound shipments in line with company standards.
Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, ideally with cross-border routes.
Knowledge of customs procedures and safe loading/unloading practices is an asset.
Strong communication skills for interacting with the internal team and border officials.
Familiarity with inventory management processes is preferred.
Physically capable of bending, lifting, and moving heavy boxes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be available part-time (30 hours/month) during weekday afternoons
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a criminal background check.
Basic knowledge of auto parts and warehouse procedures is an asset.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
