Position: SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 12.30pm
About The Role
Remedy are working with an Outstanding Primary school that are looking for a Part time SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in the Early Years department, mornings, 8.30am until 12.30pm.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective early years education.
• Support the class teacher in creating a stimulating and safe learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
• Adapt to different school settings and teams, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to each assignment.
Requirements
• A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their educational development.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an EYFS setting is desirable but not essential.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desired
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across various primary schools.
• A proactive approach to building your career and enhancing your teaching skills.
