Work as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely payment to c.8000 employees across four monthly payrolls, for a fixed term period of up to one-year.

About the role

Your main duties will include:
• Maintain the payroll system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
• Resolve payroll related queries on the telephone, face to face and via email.
• Identify, investigate and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records.
• Calculate PAYE and National Insurance liabilities for payment to HMRC.

About you

The successful applicant will have:
• Have proven experience of working within a payroll department
• Possess a strong command of payroll legislation
• Have knowledge and understanding of good payroll practices
• Able to demonstrate good attention to detail
