Nilsson Bros. Inc. is a group of livestock based agricultural businesses located throughout western Canada. We are currently looking for a Full Time Payroll Administrator/Human Resources Assistant, based in our corporate office in St Albert.

Reporting to the Human Resources Advisor at the corporate office, the Payroll Administrator/Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for:

Run bi-weekly payrolls
Assisting with the administration of the Temporary Foreign Worker recruitment project
Administration of WCB, STD and LTD claims
Assisting with recruitment procedures for the company wide hiring process
Attendance management of corporate office employees
Supporting management personnel in the administration of human resources, group benefits, legislation and company policies and procedures
Administration of background checks
Other related duties
The successful candidate must have 2 years progressive experience in Human Resources as well as 2 year progressive experience working in all aspects of payroll, processing for at least 200 employees and be able to work both independently and as part of the Payroll team.
