As a Bookkeeper, Payroll Consultant or assistant wanting to learn about payroll and bookkeeping you will provide your team and clients with professional and efficient business support. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will work closely with your team to provide clients with payroll services.

This role is based in our Coffs Harbour office and will see you working with a supportive and valued driven team.

We are after someone full-time or someone able to work during school hours.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper, Payroll Consultant or someone wanting to learn to assist us with delivering high quality bookkeeping and payroll services to our clients.

This role will be responsible for assisting our clients with their financial record-keeping and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to join a driven team, have variety in their work and help our clients reach their business objectives.

Accounts Payable: timely processing/paying invoices
Accounts Receivable: tracking payments
Processing bank feeds, reconciling bank accounts
Prepare BAS
Preparing monthly reports
Data entry
Processing of payroll
Payments of superannuation and payroll tax
Prepare IAS
Payroll processing, single-touch payroll, and payment
Annual reconciliation of wages, superannuation and payroll tax
Verifying timesheets, attendance records, or other inputs to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations
Maintaining accurate payroll records, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings
Issuing payment summaries
About you

To succeed as a team member at OAS Australia, you will be

Someone who has Bookkeeping or Payroll experience (or is wanting to learn)
Qualified with a Cert IV in Bookkeeping (preferred but not essential)
Highly organised with exceptional time management
Self-driven to achieve set goals
Proficient in MS Excel and Word + MYOB and Xero
A problem solver, with a client first attitude
An excellent communicator, verbal and written
Deadline driven with good attention to detail
A team player!
