Part-time (0.3+ FTE), one (1) year fixed term contract
Based at Mannum

Council is seeking a highly motivated, innovative and suitably experienced Payroll Officer who will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Council’s payroll function.

All key focus areas, essential qualifications and experience required can be found in the Position Description relevant to this vacancy.

The position is responsible to the Director Corporate & Financial Services and is classified as General Officers Level 3-1, which is commensurate with a current hourly rate of $42.+2.

Council will be transitioning to a new payroll system over coming months which will improve the efficiencies of payroll processing. On the expiration of the initial fixed term a review will be undertaken to determine the level of resourcing required to process payroll function moving forward.

Previous Local Government experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
