PCB Design Internship

We have an exciting opportunity for a Remote PCB Design Intern to join our dynamic team. If you are eager to gain hands-on experience, enhance your skills in embedded system hardware, and work on meaningful projects, this internship is for you!

Please note that this internship requires prior exposure in PCB design using KiCAD or Eagle; and a mandatory certificate course in PCB Design or equivalent. Our focus during the internship will be on industrial, power, and embedded designs, not on basic software training. Applicants with relevant exposure will be prioritized in the selection process.

Duration : 6 months Internship

Stipend: 5,000 INR per month

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our team to design, test, and iterate on PCB layouts for open-source 3D printer and robotics hardware projects.
• Create and modify PCB designs using tools such as KiCad or Eagle.
• Assist in selecting appropriate components and suppliers for the hardware projects.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality and reliability of the PCB designs.
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve the overall performance and features of our open-source hardware projects.

Requirements:
• Mandatory : A Certificate course in PCB Design or equivalent exposure to PCB design
• Excellent knowledge on basic electronics, incl - passive and active components and it's working.
• Basic exposure to embedded system hardware.
• Availability of a PC/Laptop for remote work
• Familiarity with PCB design using KiCad or Eagle.
• Strong enthusiasm for open-source projects and a passion for 3D printing and robotics hardware design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
